Dr. Stephen Bradshaw recently received a CAREER award from the National Science Foundation to continue making advances in the study of coronal heating. The award, $700,000 to be dispersed over a five-year span, will allow the solar physics group at Rice to continually improve models of plasma dynamics in coronal loops.
